Top 5 favorite alcoholic beverages, be they beer, wine, liquor...whatever.

I am strictly a beer man, liquor and wine disgust me.

Ballast Point Sculpin IPA
Founders Double Trouble DIPA
Stone Oaked Arrogant Bastard
Bell's Hoplsam (when I can get it)

No love for the Rochefort 6? The fermentables are low, but it's still better than most other Belgians. I am pretty partial to the Westmalle Trappist Tripel though.

I have never had the KBS. I can never seem to get a bottle. I have been in talks with a beer distributor for the past few months, trying to nail down one of the 2 cases he will get in March/April. I told him I'd pay well ahead of time, but I'm worried that it won't live up to the hype.

trying to get a case? thats pretty ambitious. if you know when its being released you shouldnt have trouble getting at least a bottle or two.

there are lots of beers that havent lived up to the hype for me, and KBS is not one of them.

The owner of the distributor told me that 1 of the 2 cases is allotted for the same guy every year, but the other one is up for grabs. He told me get back at him mid-February once he had a better idea of what was going on. He seemed perfectly willing to hold it if I paid ahead of time. We shall see.
