I intend on seeing this. First time in awhile I've wanted to see a new horror movie.

We were thinking about catching this this weekend, but noticed the huge line for it, We will probably catch it during the middle of the week, but not sure if I can wait. I've heard it is one of the best movies of the year.

Saw it last night. It was very good and I pretty much agree with everything Wren said.

It isn't nearly as scary as some people are making it out to be, but the scares it has do hit hard.

It was a nice homage to the exorcist, changeling, and amityville. The delivery was very anti modern for the most part and while it did t scare me at all, I still left satisfied.

I've come to accept the fact that most horror movies are no longer going to scare me.

I really enjoy a packed theater for movies like this. Being freaked out with a bunch of random people has always been a good time to me.
The last time I enjoyed that was for the midnight showing of paranormal activity.

This was the first horror movie to actually scare me in a long time. And while there were plenty of jump scares, they didn't rely on them entirely to make the movie scarey. The scene when one of the younger daughters sees someone behind the door but her sister doesn't was fucking terrifying.
