eh? Sounds better than what we're moving to, socialism. Not sure why "individualism" isn't that appealing in the greater hardcore community. Funny how people in the music scene fight against conformity yet, that's what we want in government.

So, outside of perhaps having semi-socialized healthcare... where is your "individualism" actually being changed in any meaningful way?

More than anything the tea party seems to be a movement that doesn't take much of a view of the bigger picture and doesn't seem to understand very well how government actually works and how the economy actually works, much less where we would be without some of the "socialist" programs that create our infrastructure, etc..

everyone under the age of thirty four who isn't a card carrying member of the young republicans-

HOLY SHIT OMG NOT COOL MAN I SAW YOU TALKING TO GLENN BECK DOWN WITH THE TEA BAGGERS UP WITH TAXES I HATE EVERY FUCKING THING YOU SAY YOU SCUMBAGS

more like:

high ranking gop official: shit dudes, only 12% of americans admit to being republicans and this black guy just kicked the shit out of us in front of everyone and it looks like we'll be in the minority probably forever now because for the first time in a long time, voters weren't retards. any ideas?

some dickhead campaign manager: well, sir, how about we tap into the realm of assheads who don't know a congressman from an avocado and trick them into believing that their rights are being tampered with? we already know that phrases like "taxes" "big government" and "socialism" scare retards that don't understand how anything works. why don't we use that to create a sub-party of republicans where we can stay out of the spotlight and claim that they're NOT republicans, but that they're simply disgruntled citizens of all walks of life who are fed up with "big government?"

high ranking gop official: HOLY FUCKING SHIT WE MIGHT BE ABLE TO JUST GET THIS SHIT BACK IN 4 YEARS. you deserve a promotion dickface, lets get you a few million dollars to run for a seat in senate. how many people do you know in how many different states? call up yr bros and tell them we got em on the money front. just make sure they go out in public, preferably places where stupid, worthless people hang out, and just start saying crazy stupid shit that's not based in reality. then BAM, we'll take the house back and block everything this guy tries to do to save the country, so that way, these idiots we got to follow us will just think that he's ineffective and we'll put one of yr bros into the white house in 2012. LETS GET THE BALL ROLLING BOYS!

and so the tale was written, the tale of america's demise into mike judge's idocracy

I'm not saying its not filled with a bunch of asshats or anything, its just this- I get behind a movement which is behind lower taxes and a smaller government. The opposition to the tea party doesn't seem to be adding anything to the discussion, they just seem to be opposing the tea party. Which seems a little nonsensical. Why wouldn't you just oppose corruption, higher taxes and government influence in your life? When you oppose the party that exists to oppose these things, it makes you wonder

For instance- I'm talking to some whiney leftist skin a ways back. The point of conversation was some sort of E.L.F. type of tattoo he had. Rather than yell at him and say i hate the left, which I kinda do, i'm with it. I like trees and I think we need more of them. I'm not interested in just opposing him blindly because he's on the wrong side of the fence

the tea party movement are also a bunch of socially conversative and very religious conspiracy theorists.

yeah, fuck corruption. no one likes that. but you won't find many parties claiming to defend the stuff.

not everyone wants lower taxes for everyone.

were the tea party campaigning on gay marriage to get the government out of peoples lives? or abortions? or was it cannabis laws? or stem cell research?

What the Tea Party lacks in intelligence they more than make up for with sheer willpower. They are, however, smart enough to know that the only thing their liberal counterparts are capable of is ridicule, which they have been emphasizing to great effect. They've been called racists, bigots, tea-baggers, homophobes, Islamophobes, idiots, asshats, and, best of all, radicals. But all that's just because people are afraid of them and they know it, and they will continue to feed off the left's ignorance until they win. In their own ignorance they have been successfully hijacked by Corporate America. Neither the Tea Party or their opposition has actually taken time to sit down and think. That's pretty sad America.

Tea Party Express leader Mark Williams referred to Allah as a "Monkey God". Williams' comments elicited strong rebukes from New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, New York state senators and Muslim leaders. In a subsequent blog posting, Williams wrote, "I owe an apology to millions of Hindus who worship Lord Hanuman, an actual Monkey God. Hanuman is worshiped as a symbol of perseverance, strength, and devotion ... Those are hardly the traits of whatever the Hell (literally) it is that terrorists worship." When questioned by The Washington Post about his comments about Islam, Williams has claimed the controversy has "been fantastic for the movement".[285][286]

uh, see my quote above.

i'm not personally afraid of them. i feel like the only reason they've gained any success in the mainstream news is because americans are treating them like reality tv stars. they're entertaining because they're the foil to the main characters which are boring moderate politicians. only the dumbest of the dumb would actually support these imbeciles.
